Youth and Trainee Representation

Welcome to the University of Bamberg's Youth and Trainee Representation (JAV) website.

In our role as youth and trainee representatives, we, Lukas Plock and Johannes Steinlein, represent you, all trainees and employees under 18 years of age. This involves working closely with the Staff Council.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Being your first point of contact for problems and other issues related to your workplace and offering advice and support
  • Representing your interests both before the Staff Council and your employer
  • Requesting measures to improve the quality of the training process
  • Monitoring compliance with laws (e.g. Vocational Training Act and Youth Employment Protection Act)
