Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan makes it possible to ask for literature that is not available in Bamberg to be sent to your preferred branch library. Participating libraries adhere to the Interlibrary Loan Guidelines for Germany (Ordnung des Leihverkehrs in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, LVO) of the year 2003.

If you have any questions, you may ask your librarian, call the Interlibrary Loan office at (0951) 863-1570 or email them at fernleihe.ub(at)uni-bamberg.de.

Renewal requests must be submitted through your account well before the end of the loan period.

If you are late in returning any item, you will be notified immediately. Late fees apply.

Old literature, especially works published prior to 1900, and microforms can only be used in the Reading Room at the Bamberg State Library.
