Printing, Scanning, and Copying
campusprint
The photocopiers on the university campus can be used as printers and scanners via the data network using the central printing and scanning service campusprint.
Print jobs and scanned files can be managed and downloaded at campusprint.uni-bamberg.de.
They remain stored in each case 5 days on the server.
Printing: You can store print jobs on the print server from any PC in order to retrieve them at any of the photocopiers integrated in campusprint and print them out on paper. In all branch libraries you can choose between recycled paper and fresh fiber paper.
Scanning: You can scan documents with any photocopier at the University of Bamberg and store them on the campusprint server as jpg images or as pdf files. You can download your scan files from any PC with an Internet connection.
Copying: Copies are possible in black and white or colour up to DIN A3 format. All campusprint copiers are fitted with document feeders.
Further options for scanning and copying
In addition to the campusprint devices, there are various other scanning options in the sublibraries that you can also use without a chip card and ba-number.

Recognize text in scans
If you want to turn your PDF scans into searchable PDFs, we recommend using the OCR function of Adobe Acrobat (parts 1 and 4 in this guide).
