Reference management with LaTeX
The department WIAI offers a two-day LaTex-Workshop for beginners, which adresses text production as well as reference management in LaTeX.
Besides a basic introduction the workshop includes the following topics:
- LaTeX and BibTeX
- Exporting bibliographical data from the Bamberg Catalogue, databases, Google Scholar etc.
- Setup of the literature database
- Checking and correcting of BibTeX-data
- Generating citations within the text
- Creating a bibliography
No prior knowledge is required for this workshop. You are very welcome to bring your own laptops.
