Opening hours in the summer semester 2024

Branch libraries 1-5 will be closed on Wednesday, May 1st (May Day) 2024. The ERBA Library and the Learning space24 in Brach Library 4 will be accessible with a chip card.

Due to the reduced allocation of study grant funds, we will have to make moderate adjustments to opening hours from 2 April 2024:

  • Branch libraries 1, 2, 3 and 5 will close two hours earlier than before from Monday to Friday.
  • Saturday openings in branch libraries 1 and 2 will be cancelled.

The opening hours of branch library 4 and the 24/7 access with your chip card to the ERBA library and the Lernraum24 in branch library 4 will remain unchanged. We are working on also equipping branch libraries 1, 2 and 5 with chip card access so that we can offer longer opening hours there.

Staffed hours

Particularly in the evenings and on weekends, we employ back staff and therefore, cannot always provide all services at those times. During regular staffed hours, our trained library personnel will be happy to assist you. E-mails to the branch libraries are only read and answered within business hours.
