E-Learning Workshops for Instructors
The Computing Centre offers departmental staff and employees in university administration practical workshops dealing with all aspects of e-learning (in German): virtual campus, video and web conferencing, electronically supported examinations, etc.
Computer Courses for Students
The Computing Centre organises student computer courses (page in German) that are taught in Bamberg by instructors from the Erlangen Regional Computing Centre (RRZE).
Additionally, the university’s four academic faculties offer courses and many other opportunities for students to expand their IT knowledge and skills.

Courses on using and handling IT devices are also organised and offered by other parts of the university (links in German only):
- Typo3 courses offered by the administrative division for Communication and Alumni (Z/KOM) for www.uni-bamberg.de web editors
- University Library courses (including courses on using the online library catalogue, on literature research using Citavi, and on using subject-specific information databases)
- Continuing education programmes for non-academic staff created by the administrative Section III/3
- Courses offered by the Centre for Higher Education Didactics (ZHD)
- Courses offered by the university’s academic faculties and student representative committees, particularly during first-semester orientation events
