In general, you can connect to your email account using any email program.

  • Web-Mail-Client: Web-based email clients are available for all University of Bamberg email accounts.
  • Outlook is installed by default on the university's computers and offers additional features in addition to email processing.

Depending on the type of email account and email client, you can use either the Exchange or IMAP protocol. POP3 is outdated and is neither recommended nor supported by IT Services.
