If you need a domain name like this for a project, please contact it-fopro(at)uni-bamberg.de.

In justified exceptional cases, the IT Service procures domain names for organizational units that do not end in uni-bamberg.de.

As part of its membership in the German Research Network (DFN), the IT Service procures domains exclusively from the DFN Association.

Your organizational unit will incur the following costs for a domain:

  • One-time registration fee: 36.00 euros (net)
  • Ongoing annual maintenance fee: 36.00 euros net, prorated from the date the domain is registered.
