On this page, you will find a list of all devices that can be borrowed from various departments at the University of Bamberg. This list is not intended to be exhaustive. If you have or know of a resource not listed here, please send a brief note to it-support(at)uni-bamberg.de.
IT Service Equipment Rental
University of Bamberg employees who do not have access to a laptop at times may borrow one from IT Services, if available. Please send an email with your name and BA number, along with a brief explanation, to it-support(at)uni-bamberg.de, or in urgent cases, call +49 951 863-1333.
IT Support provides individual devices and device packages on loan for events, video conferences, and recordings.

Other Equipment Rentals
The Center of Excellence for Digital Teaching and Learning (DigiZ) provides a workspace for video production and media design projects, including a brief introduction. A wide variety of equipment for hybrid events, web conferences, and audio/video recordings is also available for checkout there.
The Chair of Privacy and Security in Information Systems (Prof. Dominik Herrmann) provides a recording studio and portable video equipment.
Ergonomic keyboards and mice are available for loan through the Health Management and Human Resources Development Office. For more information, please visit the Staff Office Page.
