Subject Advisory Service

For all subject-related questions about a degree programme or the courses, subject study advisory is a suitable point of contact. Among other things, the subject advisors provide assistance with questions about timetabling, module progression, course selection and examination and study regulations. They also advise students with regard to stays abroad. And much more.

Many degree programmes in the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies support study abroad or offer corresponding double degree programmes. If you have any questions about this, you can contact the exchange programme coordinator at any time.

In addition, all degree programmes have a programme officer, who is responsible for general questions and quality assurance, as well as an examination board to which all applications for credits and the like must be addressed.

Student Council - Students support students

Do you have questions about studying and need advice from other students in your subject? You want to study a subject and are looking for advice from a student perspective? Then you will find the right contact persons in the student council. In addition to advising and passing on information, the student council also organises the first-semester orientation days and various cultural events.

For student teachers, the Department for Teacher Education is also available to answer questions.

Central Student Advisory Service

The Central Student Advisory Service is happy to answer any questions you may have about the content of your degree programme. Prospective students can obtain information here about the choice of degree programme and the content of the degree programme in order to make a decision that is tailored to their interests. If you have questions or problems about studying - whether before, during or at the end of your studies - the Central Student Advisory Service is the first place to go!
