Book Club

Do you enjoy reading and want to discuss one recent novel per semester in a relaxed atmosphere? Then join our EngLit Book Club! Just get a copy of the book (announced here or on social media), read it, and come to our meeting – we also have stickers!

Shakespeare Reading Group (2014-2026)

William Shakespeare’s works are familiar to all students of English literature, or at least they should be. However, when reading Shakespeare, some people find it difficult to fully appreciate his language or his brilliantly crafted characters. The Shakespeare Reading Group offered students the opportunity to read two plays per term (one comedy and one tragedy) and discuss them in depth.

Just Write!

From 2020 to 2022 Just Write was a platform for all students at the university to publish a selection of creative writing.
