The Faculty Board
The Faculty Board is the highest elected body of the Faculty of Humanities and is responsible for fundamental decisions concerning research, teaching, and the structural development of the faculty. Its responsibilities include the passing of study and examination regulations, decisions on structural and developmental plans, and determining the allocation of budgetary resources, personell, and facilities (among other things). Additionally, the Faculty Board is responsible for proposing appointments for new professors and for electing the dean and the other members of the faculty administration.
The faculty board (term of office: 01.10.2025 to 30.09.2027), according to section 64 of the relevant basic regulation, comprises the following members:
