"Let's Talk!"

Together with student representatives, the Institute for English and American Studies now offers its students the opportunity to exchange viewpoints with each other and guest experts on a wide variety of topics in an informal discussion group once per semester.

The discussion group will meet for a fourth time in June 2024 in a room in either MG1 or MG2 (Markusbuilding). The rooms are all accessible to wheelchairs and students with reduced mobility. Pre-registration is not necessary!

This semester's topic will be the most important tools that students should use during their studies.

We will invite guest speakers to share their experiences and provided information on the many tools that are available at Bamberg University and our department. Furthermore, there will be ample opportunities to ask questions and exchange ideas with the invited experts and fellow students.

Alternatively, for each Let's Talk event you can anonymously submit questions and comments in advance to the organizers, who will then pass them on to the experts during the discussion.  You can either use the mailbox for this specific purpose in the U9 building (on the ground floor, to the left of the entrance, marked in orange) or the following link: CryptoPad (entries are anonymous).

If you have any questions or comments, the organizers can be contacted via email:

We are looking forward to meeting you again soon and wish you a wonderful time until then!
