Martin Bastkowski, M. Ed., OStR

Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

Martin Bastkowski, M. Ed., OStR, has taught at various primary and secondary schools in Germany, Ireland and the USA. He is currently a teacher, head of the foreign language department and member of the school management team at a comprehensive school in Lower Saxony, Germany.

He is also a lecturer in English language education and teacher training at the English Department of the University of Hildesheim and a lecturer in the Department of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) at the University of Bamberg.

He also works as an author, editor, consultant to publishers of educational materials, and teacher trainer. His areas of interest include movement, the use of methods and communicative media in the EFL classroom, assessment and feedback, optimizing the teaching-learning process, and core aspects of successful teaching.
