Copyright is of significant importance with many offers from the university library.
On March 1, 2018, new copyright regulations became effective with the law „Gesetz zur Angleichung des Urheberrechts an die aktuellen Erfordernisse der Wissensgesellschaft” (UrhWissG). Due to the new law, regulations changed for electronic reserves as well as for the digital reading room. Furthermore, regulations changed for the use of materials protected by copyright within scientific research.
