Early Mathematics
It was an honour to have been invited again to join the 7th POEM conference (A Mathematics Education Perspective on Early Mathematics Learning between the Poles of Instruction and Construction) which was held in Heidelberg this year (28-29 May 2026).
The invitation-only format allows for a particularly trusting and open dialogue and a vivid exchange of research ideas which often lead to international project collaboration. It was a real pleasure to meet my dear colleagues again.
Many thanks to the organisers and the team in Heidelberg for hosting such a successful conference.
Selected results will be published in a peer-reviewed Springer book.
