1969 Diploma in Business administration at the University Erlangen Nuremberg

in 1970 - in 1983: Research assistant at the marketing chair of the University Erlangen-Nuremberg

in 1975: Studied for a Doctorate to Dr. rer. pol.

in 1983: Habilitation to Dr. rer. pol. habil.

in 1985: Representation of the marketing chair at the University of Hannover

In the beginning of 1985: Owner of the chair for Business Administraion, especially Marketing at the University of Bamberg

Since 2009: so-called "retirement"

 

Engagement:

  • Since 2009 he is visiting lecturer for "ecological and ehtical questions in marketing" („Ökologische und ethische Fragen im Marketing“ ) or " "sustainability in Sales and Marketing" (Nachhaltigkeit in Vertreib und Marketing) at the University of Bamberg

Other engagement outside of the University:

  • Board member of the practise forum – „Arbeitskreis für Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft e.V.“ at the University of Bamberg

  • Scientific director of the Nuremberg academy of marketing (NAA)

  • Editor of the Gfk annual of marketing and consumer research

  • Vice president of the Gfk Nuremberg  (Gesellschaft für Konsum-, Markt- und Absatzförderung e.V.)

  • 1969 - 1970: Independent employee in the marketing research institute of Psyma, Nuremberg
