Study Programme
The Double Degree Programme can be started either in Bamberg or in Trento. The complete Double Degree Programme can be studied like a normal 2-year programme, because both universities have agreed on a list of courses that are mutually recognized. During the first term students will be assisted in designing their individual study plans. An example of such a study plan is provided below.
Formally, students study both the M.Sc. Sociology and Social Research (Bamberg) and Laurea Magistrale in Sociology and Social Research - classe 88 (Trento). Please note that, due to differences in the number of credit points assigned for Master's theses between the two universities, students completing their 2nd year in Trento are required to make arrangements for an extra course, or a short internship (see study plan details).
