Event Access Points

If you would like to provide your students with Internet access as part of a university course, please contact the Network Infrastructure Department at IT Services: netzinfra(at)uni-bamberg.de

We will set up a temporary SSID with a “preshared key” for you at the access points in the area of your event venue. Please provide your participants with the SSID (access point name) and the access key. This will allow them to set up a Wi-Fi connection just as they would with their home Wi-Fi router.

If all of your participants are affiliated with other universities or research institutions that participate in eduroam, they can also connect to the Wi-Fi network using eduroam access.
