Study Programme
The Double Degree Programme starts in Bamberg. Formally, students study both the two-year M.Sc. Sociology and Social Research (Bamberg) and the one-year Master in Sociology (Tilburg). Students are required to select the specialization areas "Empirical Social Research" and "Education, Labour Market, Inequality" in the M.A. Sociology in Bamberg. The courses of the programme are held in English.
The complete Double Degree Programme can be studied like a normal two-year programme, because both universities have agreed on a list of courses that are mutually recognized. During the first term students will be assisted in designing their individual study plans. An overview of the modules and courses of the programme is provided below.
