AI in Production Workshop
We are excited to announce the third iteration of the workshop on “AI in Production” - this year prelocated to the IJCAI 2026 in Bremen, Germany. The workshop is aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange between the domains of artificial intelligence and production. This workshop is designed for both researchers and practitioners who are keen on exploring and applying AI techniques within the production domain. Given the current developments, this years installation of the workshop puts an special emphasis on the use of agents.
Workshop Goals:
Our goal is to create a dynamic forum for discussing innovative ideas and sharing experiences related to AI applications in production. We welcome contributions that span various aspects of production, including planning, control, optimization, and beyond. The workshop will serve as a catalyst for standardizing AI-supported production methodologies and facilitating the transfer of these methods across different production sectors.
Who Should Attend:
This workshop is intended for AI experts working in production settings as well as production professionals interested in leveraging AI technologies. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or a practitioner in the field, we encourage you to contribute your insights and learn from your peers.

We invite submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

- Explainable (XAI) & Interactive AI
- Neuro-symbolic AI for Planning
- Predictive Maintenance & Quality Control
- Supply Chain Optimization

- Safety and Robustness in Production
- AI for Industrial Sustainability (UN SDGs)
Important Dates:
- May, 30th: paper submission deadline
- June, 7th: notification of acceptance
- June 8th: Early-Bird registration closes
- August, 11th (tentative): Workshop (1/2 day)
Submission Guidelines:
We welcome three types of contributions:
- Full Paper: Up to 10 pages
- Short Paper: Up to 5 pages
- Demo Paper: Up to 4 pages
Authors are required to use this paper template. Please make sure that you use the most recent version of this template.
Proceedings shall be submitted to CEUR-WS.org for online publication.
