Deadline for Registration: 15 April 2026, 23:55 o'clock for heritage conservation programmes / for students from archaeology the deadline is 20 April 2026, 23:55.
The workshop week takes place from 22 - 28 July 2026 on-site. The course will be given in English with international tutors, amongst them two from the University of Bamberg.
8 places are open to applications from Uni Bamberg students. Please be ready to send us an CV (1 page A4) and a brief letter of motivation (1page A4). ( in case of doubt , please write these documents in English, but German is ok as well).
Other places are reserved for students from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and University of Catania with similar background studies (heritage documentation, geoinformation, heritage conservation). Shared accomodations. Transport / accomodation etc. will be paid for by the project. Workshop language is English. Place Ancient Messene and surroundings. Introductory Online-meeting will take place in May or June 2026 - to be announced!
If you are selected, you must make sure to be available to participate at the workshop! After April 30, no withdrawals/ cancellations are possible.
