In the event of a change in leadership at an institution, the rights and obligations associated with the abbreviation, as well as the data services linked to it (websites, email accounts, file server shares), are automatically transferred to the respective successor. Decisions regarding succession are made by the respective committees or the university administration in accordance with applicable higher education laws.

In the event of a change in responsibility for a task that does not exist as an organizational unit or project within the university’s organizational structure, or in the event that the applicant leaves the university’s service, the university administration may decide on the transfer of the code and/or the rights and obligations associated with the code, as well as on the data services and data linked to the code.
