      Attention: Important Dates

      English Placement Test (Anglistik Einstufungstest) 

      • Compulsory for all students of English & American Studies (= if you wish to take courses in English literature, English culture, English linguistics); this in particular applies to exchange students whose mother tongue is not English. Test does not apply to Business English.

      Placement Test for English HaF courses

      • HaF = Hörer und Hörerinnen aller Fakultäten (= students of all faculties)
      • Compulsory for all students who wish to take English HaF courses that are offered by the Language Centre (Sprachenzentrum).
      • Important: The HaF Placement Test is not a substitute or equivalent of the Anglistik Einstufungstest (see above).

      • Introduction week: mainly for regular degree students but good opportunity to meet fellow (German) students, lecturers & counsellors and to ask questions about starting your semester
