Data from a panel survey of female and male graduates of the Faculty WIAI from the years 2003 to 2014 are analysed with respect to objective indicators of career development. Female and male graduates are matched based on features such as grades, experience outside the academic field and international experience and leaves for child or nursing care.
In addition, semi-structured interviews with corner cases identified from the questionaire data will be conducted.
The goal is to identify gender-independet as well as gender dependent patterns of career advancement with a focus of the  impact of child or nursing care times.
