  • Intersection of Art and Science

I have been inspired to study how humans appreciate art and how it affects our cognitive processes. Having a great desire to apply the theories I have learned in this way to a practical cultural/artistic environment.

About Me

MSc Psychology of the Arts, Neuroaesthetics and Creativity (PANC),

Goldsmiths, University of London, UK

Master’s dissertation:  How far I can think ? - The Utility of Semantic Distance in the Development of the Remote Associates Test

BA Psychology, Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Republic of Korea

Alongside my academic aspirations, I have actively engaged in the artistic industry, including theatre production, art exhibition, presentation, and curation. This involvement stems from my strong desire to apply theoretical knowledge to practical cultural and artistic settings, while maintaining close contact with the real-world field as I focus on academic theories. Plus, the earliest career I seriously envisioned for myself was that of a fine artist.
