Open Science Festival 2027

Meet. Share. Inspire. Care. | 18 and 19 March 2027 @University of Bamberg

Under the festival-wide motto Meet. Share. Inspire. Care., the Open Science Festival creates a platform for exchange for everyone who wants to make science more transparent, accessible and collaborative. Researchers from all disciplines, young scientists, students and employees from libraries and research institutions come together to exchange ideas and learn from each other.

The University of Bamberg, the University Library and the Open Science Commission of the Bavarian Library Network cordially invites you to attend on 18 and 19 March 2027.

Over the next few months, you will find information here about the call for papers, the programme and registration.

The Open Science Festival is based on a concept from the Netherlands. Previous festivals took place in Hanover in 2022, Cologne in 2023, Mainz in 2024 and Vienna in 2025. The Open Science Festival will take a creative break in 2026.
