Personalized Location-Hidden Services
Location-hidden services in Tor enable service providers to offer arbitrary TCP-based services to clients anonymously, i.e. without revealing the IP address of their servers. These hidden services were designed for providing content to the anonymous public.
An alternative way of using hidden services could be to provide a personalized service to a limited set of clients. Though being connected to the public Tor network, these personalized services should only be visible and accessible by authenticated clients. Possible applications are personalized web or file services, and the area of presence-aware communication like instant messaging.
The intention of this project page is to present previous results (listed in reverse chronological order). Please feel free to contact Karsten Loesing for getting more information or providing feedback.
