European Joint Master's Programme in English and American Studies

The European Joint Master's Programme in English and American Studies is an an exclusively English-taught, two-year international degree issued by the University of Bamberg together with Karl-Franzens-Universität in Graz, Université Paris Diderot, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Università Ca'Foscari in Venice. The City College of the City University of New York, the University of Pécs and the Autonomous University of Barcelona are mobility partners of the Joint Programme. The universities in the consortium work together to provide a high-quality international curriculum focussing on the three core areas of literature, linguistics and cultural studieswith regional aspects. After successful completion of the full programme, students will be awarded a double degree of both their entrance university (Bamberg) and their respective mobility university (currently with the exception of the Unviersities of Barcelona and Pécs).

This 120 ECTS-programme can be started in the winter semester only and requires a double application (see here). It includes an obligatory semester abroad (usually the third semester) at one of our partner universities.
