Enrolment

The bachelor’s degree programme in Medieval Studies does not limit admissions. This programme can be started in the winter or summer semester. A formal admissions requirement is the general university entrance qualification.

Alongside the general university entrance qualification, you should also be very interested in the Middle Ages in all its aspects and in medieval research. Equally, willingness to carry out interdisciplinary work in various subject areas, curiosity and a thirst for knowledge will lead you to success in this programme.

The University of Bamberg’s Academic Registrar’s Office handles enrolment. You can find further information on the Enrolment webpages.

The bachelor’s degree programme in Medieval Studies can also be studied part-time. You may enrol in a degree programme part-time without justifying your decision. You may also switch from a full-time model to a part-time model during any semester’s enrolment period. Please find further information on studying part-time on the university’s central pages.
