Would you like to come up with your own ideas, put them into practice with confidence and develop your entrepreneurial skills? Or simply find out what you’re capable of?

The University of Bamberg’s BIG programme is aimed not only at students with a specific business idea, but also at anyone interested in entrepreneurial thinking or keen to discover their own strengths. A fully formed idea or a concrete start-up plan is not a prerequisite.

Together with experienced coaches and through interaction with peers, you will develop key future skills such as initiative, problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. In doing so, you will experience self-efficacy in a very tangible way: you will try things out, structure initial approaches and realise that your actions are having an impact.

Starting a business isn’t a must – but the experience of seeing your own ideas come to fruition can have a lasting positive impact on your mental resilience and confidence in your own abilities.

Further information about BIG and the course programme can be found on the relevant webpage of the University of Bamberg’s BIG.
