Social network

Interacting with other students can be a source of relief, motivation, and new perspectives. Sharing experiences, asking questions, or finding solutions together not only strengthens a sense of community but also enhances your personal well-being during your studies.

On this page, you’ll find opportunities and platforms that provide space for connection, networking, and mutual support—informal, accessible, and compatible to your everyday student life.

Are you looking for a community that brings people together and offers support?

Are you looking for a safe space to talk about mental health issues?

HOPES Bamberg is a self-help group run by and for students at the University of Bamberg who have experienced mental health issues or emotional crises. Within the group, you can connect with others, share experiences and find mutual support in your day-to-day student life – in a safe and confidential environment.

Taking part offers you the chance to overcome social isolation, feel understood and exchange practical tips. HOPES is not a substitute for therapy, but can be a valuable addition.

Interested? Simply contact the group by email: hopes(at)uni-bamberg.de

The meeting point and dates will be communicated by the group via email once you have made contact.
