26. Bavarian Micro Day in Bamberg

The teams working with Prof. Dr. Marco Sahm and Prof. Dr. Florian Herold were delighted to host the 26th Bavarian Micro Day here in Bamberg on 27 June 2025.

Thanks to the contributions of our guests from all over Bavaria, we were able to put together a diverse programme of presentations by doctoral students, postdocs and professors from theoretical, empirical and experimental fields. The event enabled in particular microeconomists from Bavarian universities and research institutions to engage in intensive and enriching exchanges.  

Dr. Stefanie Schmitt and Daniel Witt, M.Sc., from the University of Bamberg presented their current projects: 

Dr. Stefanie Schmitt on “Investments in environmental quality under limited attention“ and Daniel Witt on „Losing Local Superstars: The Effect of Phasing out Nuclear Power Plants on Municipal Budgets“.
