Double Master with Radboud University - Nijmegen
The Radboud University Nijmegen is a partner institution of the double degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration at the University of Bamberg. Within the programmes, students spend one academic year at the partner university and obtain, in addition to the degree from their home institution, a Dutch Master’s degree.
The double degree programmes combine the Bamberg Master’s programmes:
- MSc Business Administration
- MSc Finance & Accounting
with the English-taught Master’s programmes at Radboud University:
- MSc Strategic Human Resources Leadership
- MSc Economics
The programmes combine business education with international perspectives on human resource management, economics, finance and corporate governance.
Double Degree: Business Administration & Strategic Human Resources Leadership
Academic Focus
The programme combines business administration with international perspectives on human resource management, leadership and organisational development. Students take courses particularly in the areas of:
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Leadership

Programme Structure
Students spend the first academic year at their home university and the second academic year at the partner university. All coursework and examinations are mutually recognised and fully integrated into the respective degree programmes.
Individual study plans are based on the agreed curriculum structures and a Learning Agreement prepared jointly with the programme coordinators.

Upon successful completion, students receive:
- the Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Bamberg
- and the MSc Strategic Human Resources Leadership from Radboud University Nijmegen

Students starting the programme in Bamberg (Bamberg = home institution)
During the application for winter term, the double degree programme application is included in the regular application process for either the Master in Business Administration and/or the Master in Finance and Accounting. Admission to the second year of study
Students who begin the double degree programme at Radboud University Nijmegen are nominated by their home university for the study period in Bamberg. After nomination, students receive all relevant information regarding application, enrolment and study organisation directly from the University of Bamberg.
Unlike regular exchange students, participants in the double degree programme are formally enrolled at the University of Bamberg. Enrolment is completed through the university’s online application system and students are supported throughout the process by the programme coordinators.
In addition, the International Office of the University of Bamberg supports international students in preparing their stay, particularly with regard to accommodation, orientation and language courses.
At the beginning of the semester, an orientation event for double degree students is organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business Administration.

Study programme for all DD students
The double degree programmes comprise four semesters. Students spend the first academic year at their home university and the second academic year at the partner university. During their stay abroad, students remain enrolled at their home institution.
All coursework and examinations completed within the programme are mutually recognised by both universities and fully integrated into the respective degree programmes.
The individual study plan depends on the university at which students begin the programme. The academic schedule is based on a Learning Agreement prepared jointly with the programme coordinators at both institutions.

The detailed course of study depends primarily on where the programme is started. The following overview is intended to provide planning and orientation, but the course of study may differ slightly in individual cases. Students on the double degree must always conclude an individual credit transfer agreement with the programme coordinators at both universities, which is based on the current status of the regulations of the degree programmes involved

Course programm for Business Administration & Strategic Human Resources Leadership
Students who want to participate in the European Human Resource Management (EHRM) Programme choose one of the regular focuses in the first year - Strategic Human Resource Management, Leadership and Innovation or Strategic Human Resource Management, Marketing and Customer Relationship - and simultaneously apply for the EHRM Programme. After the admission to the EHRM Programme the courses Corporate Strategy and Growth, Strategic Renewal and Organizational Transformation are moved to the Module Group General Management. The second year for students participating in the EHRM programme is the following:
