The academic career of Prof. Dr. Stephan Henneberg began with studies in Management Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics. He subsequently obtained his PhD in Marketing from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
Before returning to academia, he held senior positions as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Company.
He later held academic appointments at Manchester Business School (University of Manchester) and at the School of Management, University of Bath. At Manchester Business School, he served as Division Head (Associate Dean) and Postgraduate Teaching Director, with responsibility for all Master’s programmes.
Since 2013, he has been Professor of Marketing and Strategy at the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London.
In addition to his position in London, he serves as Visiting Professor at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and at Università IULM (Milan), and as Visiting Scholar at the University of Alabama.
