// SUPERVISION

Professor Dr. Johannes Marx is interested in supervising doctoral studies on normative and analytical questions in Political Theory. In this context, I am particular looking for students who link the history of political ideas with contemporary analyses of society, employing recent tools in theory formation, such as action and decision theory, game theory, and computer simulations. Further potential research topics include the explanation of the emergence of and stability within collective actors, as well as enquiries into their accountability and legitimacy.
