Professor Dr. Corinna Kleinert is interested in supervising doctoral students who analyse social inequalities, particularly gender inequalities, in education and the labour market, and who study changes in these areas over the life-course, e.g. transitions from school to work or career mobility.

Her research interests comprise social and gender inequalities in education and employment, school-to-work transitions, vocational education and training, and questions related to intra-generational mobility.
