Professor Dr. Cordula Artelt is particularly interested in supervising doctoral students in the areas of large-scale assessments, reading and reading development, metacognition and self-regulated learning, competence assessment as well as teacher professionalism and knowledge.

Her research focuses on multiple document comprehension, data literacy and digital learning, reading and text comprehension, metacognition and self regulated learning, methods of large scale assessment, and teacher judgements.
