Prof. Dr. Philipp Rauschnabel

The academic career of Prof. Dr. Philipp A. Rauschnabel began with the study of Business Administration at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. He subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Marketing and Distribution Management at the University of Göttingen.

In 2014, he received his doctoral degree (Dr. rer. pol., summa cum laude) from the University of Bamberg. Since 2010, he had been affiliated with the Chair of Sales & Marketing at the University of Bamberg as a research associate and doctoral candidate. He later continued there as a postdoctoral researcher and completed his habilitation (Dr. habil., Privatdozent).

From 2014 to 2017, he served as Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan–Dearborn (USA).

Since 2018, he has held the Professorship of Digital Marketing and Media Innovation at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich.

In addition to his research activities, he contributes to the international academic community, among others as Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Research.
