Change in the Submission Procedure for Final Theses
Dear students,
Please note that the procedure for submitting final theses will change starting in the upcoming summer semester. The official submission will be carried out digitally, complemented by a simplified submission to the chair.
The submission process will consist of the following steps:
- Digital submission: The official submission is carried out via the Examination Office Form Server. From there, the thesis (PDF format) is transmitted to the Examination Office and subsequently forwarded to the chair.
- Submission to the chair: In addition, one printed, single-sided black-and-white and bound copy (spiral binding is sufficient) must be submitted to the chair’s office on the submission date.
- Submission of a USB stick: Together with the printed version, a USB stick must be submitted containing the following files:
- the thesis in PDF and Word format, as well as
- all supplementary materials (e.g., datasets, transcripts, literature tables).
If personal submission at the chair is not possible, the thesis must be sent by post. In this case, the date of the postmark is considered the submission date.
