This year, we will focus on the design of auctions and energy markets. 

In the first meeting we give a brief introduction and an overview of tentative topics. Students will study the selected topics and the corresponding research article and scientific literature, write a seminar paper about it, and present their work.

We expect students to present the assigned paper, and to discuss potential applications, current challenges and related modeling approaches.

• The seminar paper (about 10 pages) can be written in English or German.

• Each student will give one presentation (about 30-45 minutes, the presentation has to be in English), followed by an open discussion.

It is mandatory to attend the first meeting on October 20, 10:15, F21/02.55. All further dates will be announced in this meeting.
