đŸŒ±Meet & Grow: Plants – Mind – Care (Hands-On Activity, Aug. 10, 2026, 12:30–1:00 p.m.)

How can plants promote well-being? This 30-minute, interactive workshop, “Meet & Grow: Plants – Mind – Care”, organized by Mind Matters (Health Management Office) in collaboration with the Sustainability Office, explores this question.

In just 30 minutes, you’ll gain fascinating insights into scientific findings on how plants and working with soil can help reduce stress and promote well-being. You’ll also learn about the positive impact houseplants have on indoor air quality and how caring for plants can be integrated into your daily (academic) routine as a small act of self-care.

During the hands-on session, you’ll repot your own plant and receive helpful tips on selecting sustainable and ethically sourced plants, as well as on caring for low-maintenance houseplants.

In addition to planting together, the event focuses on connecting with other students and researchers. Meet & Grow offers you the chance to take a short break from your daily (academic) routine, try something new, and take away inspiration for more self-care and sustainability.
