Online courses of the Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern vhb (Virtual University of Bavaria)

Students who have to interrupt their studies in Ukraine due to the war have the possibility to take courses of the Bavarian universities online via the Virtuelle Hochschule Bayern vhb (Virtual University of Bavaria) and thus acquire ECTS credits which they can later have credited at their home university.

Students from a Ukrainian university, whether they have fled or are still in Ukraine, can register via the access option for "Sonstige Nutzende" in the CLASSIC vhb course portal. Upon presentation of proof of enrolment from your Ukrainian university (not older than WS 2021/22), Ukrainian students can participate in all CLASSIC vhb courses free of charge and earn ECTS credits. They do not have to be enrolled at a university in Bavaria. However, they can also participate in the vhb courses if they are enrolled at a Bavarian university and combine both offers. The International Office of the University of Bamberg supports the vhb in checking the Ukrainian enrolment certificates.
