Feride Yilmaz

About the Person

Feride Yilmaz joined the Chair of Information Systems, esp. AI Engineering in Companies as a research associate in May 2026. She completed her bachelor’s degree in International Business Studies at Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, including a semester abroad at the University of Turku in Finland in 2023. In 2026, she completed the double master’s program in Digital Enterprise Management (DEMA) at the University of Passau and University of Turku, with a major in information systems. In her master’s thesis, she examined the influence of the psychological constructs FOMO and JOMO on digital constant checking behavior. 

During her studies, she gained practical experience as a working student in project management at Telefónica and as an intern in the department of international projects and business relations at Witt Weiden. Most recently, she worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Marketing and Services at University of Passau.

Research Interests

Feride Yilmaz's research interests lie in the areas of digital detox, AI ethics, and disinformation on social media.
