Theses and Projects

Our group supervises bachelor's and master's theses as well as 15-ECTS projects. The topics relate to our research in robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-robot interaction.

The individual topic descriptions explain the thesis tasks and provide information on recommended prerequisites. The contact person can answer questions about the topic and supervision.

Open Topics

The following thesis and project topics are currently available:

Effects of visible speech on comprehension in human-robot interaction

Bachelor's Thesis ⋅ Master's Thesis ⋅ Project (15 ECTS)

This thesis investigates whether humans understand non-humanoid robots under noisy conditions better when they use visible speech. To this end, speech-synchronised visemes will be developed and investigated in a user study.
