Short biography

Benjamin Jungmann received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Freie Universität Berlin. Subsequently, he earned a Master's degree in Economic Analysis and Policy from Université Paris Sorbonne Nord and in International Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin). From 2021 to 2026, he worked as a research associate and lecturer at HWR Berlin while simultaneously pursuing his doctorate at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord. He successfully completed his dissertation, titled "Demand and Growth Regimes in Emerging Market Economies since the 2000s – A Post-Keynesian Political Economy Perspective," in February 2026.

Research Interests

Inflation and distribution, industrial policy, Post-Keynesian macroeconomics, demand and growth regimes, emerging economies, and international and comparative political economy.
