Description

The German Network for New Economic Dynamics (GENED) calls for papers for their upcoming conference at the University of Bamberg. PhD students are especially encouraged to apply.

GENED brings together a group of economists who work on the development and application of computational models of economic dynamics based on interacting heterogeneous agents. As demonstrated in the literature, such an approach allows for fruitful new insights into important economic phenomena and policy issues in a wide range of areas. GENED is built on the conviction that the potential of the application of computational heterogeneous agent models for economic analysis is huge and that it is essential to strengthen the community of (in particular young) researchers who are willing and able to incorporate state-of-the-art methods in this area in their research.

For further information please visit the network's website.

The deadline for the submission of papers is August 1st, 2023.
