Joseph is a PhD student and research assistant at the Chair for Algorithms and Complexity Theory at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg.

He completed his undergraduate and masters degrees in mathematics at the University of Leeds, with a final project on set theory with anti-foundation.

Joseph's current areas of interest are in graph theory, logic in computer science and property testing.
