Invitation to a guided city tour on October 29!

We’d love to invite you to a guided city tour (in English)!

We are going to be joined by Armin Gertz, who's a lecturer at the Language Center of the University of Bamberg and an intercultural trainer. He will show us around parts of the old town, the cathedral and cathedral hill - an ideal starting point for learning lots of fascinating facts about Bamberg's history. Especially for our newcomers, this tour offers a great opportunity to get to know Bamberg better, but of course our "old hands" are also welcome to participate. ☺️

Who can participate?  

All international PhD students and international researchers and their partners and families. Participation is free of charge.

• Thursday, October 29, 2026, 4:00 pm until approx. 6:00 pm
• Meeting point: Am Kranen 1, in front of the entrance of branch library 5 (Google street view)
