• Research-based consultancy with regard to practical training in schools
• Ongoing improvement of the academic supervision of school internships
• Support of university-wide cooperations forum praktikum (VC only)
• Networking with partner schools, internship schools and other schools as well as educational institutions other than schools
• Coordinating the integration of studies and practical training phases; including in cooperation with the WegE-SchulPrax project
• Promoting the internationalisation of practical training phases
• Integrating theory and practice in teaching and in research and practice fields in school, business and society
• Organiser of the Tag des Praktikums (Internship Day for teaching interns at schools of any type, students, university lecturers and members of the school administration)
